Dog Day Festival
Each year, 7,500+ dog owners descend upon Centennial Park for the Dog Day Festival, Middle Tennessee’s largest one day event celebrating and supporting our four-legged friends and their owners. Furrnatic pet owners are treated to a variety of activities to pamper their pets, including a HUGE shopping pavilion and the Nashville Humane Association Store, Doggie Arts & Crafts, Kids Zone, Pet Portraits, Teddy’s Wagon with adoptable pets and microchip clinics, training and agility clinics, K9 contests, great food, music and more!
Before the opening of Dog Day, more than 300 people and pooches alike will gather to Strutt for a good cause in the Music City Mutt Strutt (www.nhamuttstrutt.org)! All monies raised through Dog Day and Mutt Strutt enable the Nashville Humane Association to provide care and love to the animals entrusted to us each day.
Don't miss this year's Dog Day Festival and Music City Mutt Strutt! Mark your calendar for Saturday, September 21st! Admission is $5, children under the age of ten are FREE with a paid adult. Check back for our schedule of activities, including music, contest and more.
