My family was looking to adopt a cat to make our family whole. We came to the Nashville Humane Association hoping to find a match for us. After walking up and down the aisle in the cat room (about 20 times), talking to each cat, and even holding a few, my eye kept drifting back to this little gray sweetie. I had looked online before coming to the shelter, and saw a cat that I was sure to adopt, yet for some reason the gray cat just stood out. So we ended up choosing him. That was the best choice we ever made! His name was Ernie, and he was there with his brother Bert. We've now changed his name to Fred and love that cat to death. He is the most confident, loving, playful, outgoing cat that I've ever seen. He's number 1 and he knows it. Thank you Nashville Humane Association for allowing us to have this wonderful creature.
