My husband and I adopted Foster at the first of June, and right from the start, we knew that he was the perfect dog for us. He has settled in very nicely with the family. Everyone who meets him comments on how beautiful, smart and lovey he is. I have a two year old niece who comes over two or three days a week. She and Foster love each other to death. She is a little rough with him sometimes like toddlers will be, but he doesn't mind a bit. He just takes whatever she dishes out with a wag and a kiss. He even does his best to keep her out of the street when we are all in the front yard, running in front of her and herding her back towards the porch. He is very smart and learned to do the herding thing on his own. He also knows how to sit, stay and open the door to his kennel and get in when its unlatched. He is still learning how to shake hands but he will do it sometimes. He is a cuddle bug and will spend hours setting half in my or my husbands lap (he's a little big to get all the way in, but that doesn't stop him from trying!!!). We love him very much and I just wanted to thank all of you for doing what you do, because it's my belief that evry dog and cat needs a good home. I'm glad that we could give one to Foster.
