Dear Animal Advocates,

Nashville Humane Association plays an important role in Davidson County and Middle Tennessee: We have been the Animal Disaster Response Team following tornadoes in Tennessee, hurricane Gustav in New Orleans, Louisiana, Hurricane Ike in Galveston, Texas, as well as caregivers for puppy mill animals in several Tennessee counties. We have supported the passage of animal welfare legislation in the areas of animal fighting, cruelty to animals, and the regulation of puppy mill operations in Tennessee. Additionally, our facility continues to provide care and shelter to thousands of homeless pets each year.

We cannot do this alone. We need you to join us as volunteers, contributors, advocates, and supporters, lending your voice and time in support of our work.

On behalf of the animals, I invite you to support our efforts by visiting the shelter to adopt your new family member, participating in NHA events, placing yourself on our e-mail list, and encouraging others to do the same.

Thank you in advance for your commitment and support!

Warmest regards,

Mary Pat Boatfield
Executive Director
