Shelter Holiday Hours

In an effort to better serve you during the holiday season, the Nashville Humane Association will be open for extend hours on the following days:

Wednesday, December 21st, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. 

Thursday, December 22nd, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Friday, December 23rd, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.

The Nashville Humane Association will be closed in observance of the holidays on December 24th, 25th and 26th.  Additionally, we will close at 3 p.m. on December 31st and will reopen at 10 a.m. on January 3rd, 2012.

Pet Adoption Certificates

Alternative Gifts

Holiday Pet Wish Tree

Tickets to Unleashed: Dinner with Your Dog
This is a great gift for the animal lover on your list!  This January 2012 event includes cocktails, seated dinner, auction, doggie spa, photos and a Canine Couture fashion show featuring doggie looks from some of Nashville's most talented clothing designers.  It's a one-of-a-kind event at the stylish Hutton Hotel in downtown Nashville.  Everyone will be begging to go again next year! 59th Annual Nashville Christmas Parade
7 p.m.
Grand Marshall: Vince Gill. Look for Teddy's Wagon and Team amongst the floats and festivities. The parade will begin at 8th and Broadway and head east to popular 2nd Avenue and then follow the Woodland Street Bridge to the Coliseum.

Jim Reed Subaru Year End Leash Event and Adoption Day
1512 Broadway
11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Visit NHA animals up for adoption on site at Jim Reed Subaru.  Bring a pet food donation for the annual Holiday Pet Food Drive, then take a spin in a new Subaru!  Jim Reed will donate $5 to NHA for every test drive taken that day.  And remember to enter your dog in the "What Makes Your Dog a Subaru Dog" contest.  To enter, click here for contest rules.

Predator's Calendar Event and Game

NHA's adoptable pups and the Predators teamed up once again to shoot the 2012 Predator's Calendar. On December 3rd only, these special calendars will be handed-out to fans.
